As part of the follow-up to the recommendations of the first meeting of the Consultative Council and its role in the importance of professional and community partnership. The second meeting of the Consultative Council of the College of Education and Basic Sciences at Ajman University was held at the College in Ajman University. It was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Cheikh Ould Hamoud, Dean of the College, Dr. Mazan Jaradat, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language, Dr. Mohamed Kasasbeh, Director General of the National school of Ajman, Dr. Tassos Anastasiades, Director of Ajman Academy, Mr. Ali Al Zahmi, Director of activities, Ministry of Education.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Cheikh Ould Hamoud welcomed the members of the Consultative Council and stressed on the importance of the role of this council in providing the appropriate advice to the college in its progress towards improving the outcomes of education. It also plays a pivotal role in the College’s effective contribution to the service of the society and providing it with competencies capable of making a great impact in the field of Education.
The agenda was then reviewed, focusing on the college's strategic plan, ways to strengthen the partnership between the college and the local community, practical training for students, and introducing new courses and programs that qualify students to the labour market. At the end of the meeting, the Council issued important recommendations that contribute to improving the educational process, improving the quality of outcomes and activating and deepening effective partnership between the college and society.
