College of Education and Basic Sciences in collaboration with the Office of Training and Employment under the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a Career day for its students, at Sheikh Zayed Centre for Conferences and Exhibitions.
Dr. Mohammed Nasor, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs officially inaugurated the event and appreciated the efforts of the College and organizer to provide such a platform for graduating students. He highlighted that such events facilitate the exchange of expertise and experiences. Wherein the industry experts and working alumni impart valuable advice and knowhow to the current students of Education and Basic Sciences.
Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi, Dean of Student Affairs also addressed the event and outlined the importance of Education and the role that educationists play in the positive development of our society, their valuable contribution to community can never be undermined.
Prof. Dr. Cheikh Wald Hammoud, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences welcomed the participants and stressed the importance of development, innovation and excellence in the field of education. He pointed out that the College has plans aligned with the strategic vision of the University. He encouraged the students to utilize the facilities on campus and reiterated the Universities commitment to supporting their endeavors.
Dr. Amina Khalifa Al Ali, Chairman of Ajman Businesswomen Council, Ms. Khawla Al Hosni Director of Training and Development at the Ministry of Education, Ms. Najiba Rifai certified trainer and presenter and writer were amongst the prominent people who gave talks and enlightened the students about the career opportunities.
Career Day events included discussion sessions, lectures and workshops. The students keenly participated in the events and exchanged ideas with the professionals representing various organizations across the UAE.
