Blood Donation Drive at AU

Office of Community Service at Ajman University in collaboration with Sharjah Transfusion and Research center has recently organized a blood donation campaign on campus. This comes within the framework of the Year of Giving initiatives undertaken by the Government in the Emirates of Ajman.

This campaign provides support to the centers surgical patients and people with the genetic blood disease. This year witnessed 59 students and staff donate blood during the drive.

AU supports community initiatives and encourages students’ significant contribution. Ajman University staff and students compassionately participated and donated blood throughout the day. Students stood in queues waiting for their turns-to support patients as well as children with Thalassemia.
