The Ajman University team won the third prize in the Intellectual Property Award for State Schools and Universities at the State Level for the academic year 2016-2017 organized by Dubai Customs in its ninth edition. The project, which is comprised of students and professors from the law, media and humanities colleges and with the direct support of the two kidneys, presented a project entitled "Customary Social Protection." The project included a film, a play and an illustrated story to promote and disseminate the culture of intellectual property. As well as awareness campaigns inside and outside the university, and launch a website that documents the campaign's activities. The Intellectual Property Award for Schools and Universities is part of Dubai Customs's Department of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management Plan aimed at maximizing community contributions in the field of intellectual property protection, enhancing students' awareness of IPR and how to maintain it by being the most important consumer segments.
