Office of Community Service at Ajman University organized for 130 AU students from different colleges to join Voices of Hope, an initiative founded by MBC Al-Amal in partnership with INJAZ Al-Arab.
The event aimed to help students from all majors design their future career via career guidance and live interactive talks with great influencers sharing their career success stories. Featured meetings with young leaders who represent MENA top industries and start-ups with the objective of finding sustainable employment opportunities for Arab Youth.
Mrs. Sulaf Al-Zu’bi- CEO of INJAZ UAE told her incredible story from her college years and how she overcame all the obstacles with passion and focus. She also introduced “expand you horizons” a project that promotes youth education, work readiness and financial literacy in the Arab world.
Mr.Abdullah Al-Qadi – Executive Director at Crescent Petroleum along with Mr. Adel Al-Obathani – Senior Sales Manager at Marriott, both emphasized on the importance of using LinkedIn as a social networking platform that is more beneficial than Facebook and other social media in terms of career advancement.
On the other hand, Mr. Anas Bukhash – Managing Director of Bukhash Brothers explained his 3Ps secret to career success. Which are Passion, Planning and Perseverance. He also shared his major failure story and how it changed his life and opened his eyes to more hidden opportunities that he was mistakenly taking them for granted.
Ms. Azza Zaroor T.V Broadcaster at MBC 3, and who hosted the whole event as well, got her chance to share her side of the story. How her little girl’s dream became true when she started to believe in it with all her heart.
One of the exceptional stories was shared by Mr. Rami Sabbah – Senior Commercial Executive at MBC Group, his sense of humor filled the whole theater with joy. He stated also that success is the byproduct of what you do and passion is the drive.
AU Students enjoyed the inspiring talks and workshops that added value to their career choices and academic knowledge.
