AU Student Represents UAE at GCC Youth program

Student Aisha Al Kaabi from the College of Mass Communication and Humanities at Ajman University represented the UAE at the Youth program of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Rome Italy.

His Excellency Khalid Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary General of the Youth and Sports Welfare in the UAE, chaired the youth committee.

Mr. Ahmed Al Raisi headed the UAE delegation. Other members of the delegation included Mr. Rashid Al Ali, Khalid Muhammad, Nasser Mazmi, and Mahra Marzouki, Aisha al - Kaabi, Marium Al Mehri, Maha al - Shehhi, and Amira Hussein.

As part of this program aimed at building bridges between cultures and civilizations, increasing communication between the youngsters from across the national borders. Many official visits and workshops were organized to support this initiative. GCC seeks to fortify the youth programs by consolidating it on many levels, such as sports, culture, development and education.
