In cooperation with the Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy and Health Science, the Student Affairs Office coordinated the University's participation in the Second Orphan Day Festival, Which was held at Ajman Youth Center of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare. The event was organized by the Committee for Social Development at the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman. It was well attended by more than 200 orphan children and patrons.
The festival was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman.
The University's booth entitled "Health and Nutrition" won the admiration of organizers and participants and attracted a large number of orphaned children.
Students from the College of Dentistry checked their teeth and instructed them to keep them clean and safe. The students from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences measured the children's height and weight and guided them to maintain their health through healthy nutrition.
At the end of the festival, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, honored the participants in the festival, including Ajman University.
