AU holds lecture on "Successful Communication Skills"

Student Guidance Unit under the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a lecture entitled "Successful Communication Skills", presented by Dr. Rasha Abdullah, Director of the Student Counseling Unit. The course aimed at enriching the knowledge and enhancing the skill set of audience at the Ajman Association for Social and Cultural Development.

The lecture defined the concept of successful communication, its goals and the process that can be adopted to better communicate within an organization and outside. She outlined the best practices of expressing ones opinion and negotiating with counterparts.

Dr. Rasha stressed that  “communication process is the first basic process in human life and carried out in order to communicate with the community in which he lives”.

The public showed keen interest in the lecture and actively participated in the discussions. AU regularly holds lectures, courses and workshops for the community as part of its CSR activities, in the Emirates of Ajman and across UAE.
