AU Office of Career & Placement Services at the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a training course entitled “Social Intelligence: The art of dealing with life”. It was facilitated by Mrs. Enas Khalil Ibrahim, Faculty Member at the College of Education and Basic Sciences, she is a certified trainer from the Manchester International Training College in UK.
The purpose of this workshop was to gain full awareness that social intelligence is the essence of success in every aspect of our personal and professional lives. It is the hidden power behind the achievement of our goals and strengthening our relationships with others. At the professional level, it helps you improve teamwork, making you a better manager or employee. At the personal level, it makes you an admired life partner.
The course encompassed the basic skills that are acquired to developed social intelligence. She also outlined the meaning of social intelligence and rules that control the emotions, along with relationship management and empathy.
The participants went away equipped with the knowledge on developing relationships and maintaining social relationships without draining their energies. The participants enjoyed the interactive session and training imparted through the course.
