Thesis on UAE Role in Arab Charter on Human Rights

Student from the College of Law at Ajman University of Science and Technology  Rashed Mohammed Hassan bin Saadan, recently defended his Master Thesis entitled, “The Role of UAE in Preparing and Activating the Arab Charter on Human Rights”.

In his Thesis, he explains the role of UAE in preparing the Arab Charter on human rights, especially that UAE was the country that has entered into the Charter in 2008. He also focused on the role of UAE in activating and implementing the same. He mentioned the efforts done by UAE to reach this goal, through the League of Arab Countries and by imposing the respect of human rights in UAE society, is remarkable.

The jury that judged the thesis included Dr. Riad Saleh Abouelatta, Associate Professor in Public International Law at Ajman University of Science and Technology, he is the Supervisor and President of the jury. Dr. Abdul Wahhab al-Abdoul, Jury Member and President of the Federal Supreme Court, Dr. Mohammad al-Barnoussi, Jury Member and The General Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Dubai.
