Sports Complex Inaugurated At Ajman University

Sports Complex at Ajman University of Science and Technology was officially inaugurated today, heralding in a new era of sports and fitness on campus for both students and staff alike. The full-fledged complex was inaugurated by Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Acting Chancellor, Ajman University in the presence of Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Vice-Chancellor Student Affairs and Community Affairs and other members of the academic and administrative staff.

Students thronged the complex to get a feel of the facilities, which include a fully equipped gymnasium, basketball, volleyball and badminton court and a swimming pool. All sports activities have professional trainers and swimming pool is over looked by the life guards at all times. The complex is built as such that it maintains the segregation of the male and female students but at the same time ensures that they can utilize the facilities. Both sections have locker facilities along with shower rooms.

The students and staff can benefit from the extensive facilities and activities offered therein during the weekdays whilst the weekend is reserved for the administrative and academic staff members.
