After the initial phase of choosing the best projects amongst hundreds of applicants from across the UAE, the Innovation Centre Ajman (ICA) has embarked upon the second step of inducting those choosing into an incubation program under the aegis of the ICA.
Innovation Center Ajman (ICA) has launched its incubation program for Cycle 1 incubates. The incubation program is composed of 12 specialized units clustered within four modules to prepare the incubatees with those set of skills which are deemed essential to help them successfully accomplish their innovation and entrepreneurial journey. All enrolled startups will go through the carefully designed incubation program that includes individual mentorship, industrial tours, exposure to investors and number of inspirational and informative lectures and workshop sessions delivered by its internal experts as well as by guest speakers.
Dr. Abdullah Ismail, Director ICA, initiated the incubation program with his talk on the topic “The University Role at Innovation Frontier – Challenges and Opportunities”. The talk was attended by the enrolled incubatees as well as outside audience. Similar sessions of talks and workshops will be arranged regularly throughout the incubation program usually on Thursdays during 2-5 pm at Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions at Ajman University. Some of the sessions will be open for the public as well, and those talks will be announced on ICA website (www.ica.ae) for the interested external audience to pre-register online.
