His Highness Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi Attends Fujairah Campus Graduation

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Fujairah Crown Prince, attended the Fujairah commencement ceremony for the academic year 2015-2016. It was held at Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hall in the emirates and witnessed the graduation of 148 male graduates.

Hailing from 8 colleges they were honored by Fujairah Crown Prince, in the presence of heads of Fujairah government departments and local community and business leaders, together with Ajman University representatives, including by Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Acting Chancellor, Ajman University, Prof. Ali Abu El Nour, Director of Fujairah Campus, College deans, faculty and staff members.

In his address at the ceremony, Fujairah Campus director thanked His Highness the Crown Prince for gracing the occasion and extending his kind patronage and honoring the graduates.

He expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership, headed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai for their ground-breaking initiative of declaring 2016 as the Year of Reading under the motto  "Reading Nation." This inspired Ajman University to designate the current batch as the "Graduates of the Year of Reading" in homage to the presidential initiative.

Prof. Ali Abu El Nour also expressed appreciation and gratitude for the steadfast and continuing support given to Ajman University Campus by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohamed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Fujairah.

He also thanked His Excellency Saeed Mohamed Al Raqbani, chairman of the board of directors of Fujairah Welfare Association, for his support in the development of the university campus.

Prof. Ali Abu El Nour also recognized and valued the role played by parents in securing the successful progress of the graduates throughout their university years. He also wished the graduates a happy and prosperous future and urged them to commit themselves to their country and its continued progress and development.   

Representing the graduates, Mr. Hassan Khalfan also addressed the ceremony, expressing appreciation of the support given to education by the UAE leaders. He affirmed the graduates' loyalty to their leadership and their commitment to the advance of their country.

He thanked the university and its faculty for guiding the graduates throughout their years of study, and wished his fellow-graduates successful and fulfilling careers.

In conclusion of the commencement ceremony, the graduates received their graduation certificates from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, who in turn received the university campus shield from His Excellency Saeed Mohamed Al Raqbani.
