In the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman, Ruler’s Court in the Emirates of Ajman, College of Information, Mass Communication and Humanities at Ajman University of Science and Technology organized the first “Patriotic Music Video Festival”. Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Dean, College of Information, Mass Communication and Humanities, Dr. Basheer Shehadeh, Assistant to President attended the event for Follow-up, Up-dating and Development, Dr. Ahmed Ankit, Assistant to President for External Relation and Cultural Affairs.
The festival witnessed remarkable patriotic zeal as students presented their work in the form of audio video clips that were centered on the theme of national pride. Students integrated their work and applied what they had learnt across the tenure of their academic life at Ajman University, they combined radio, television, filming, editing and mixing to produce music video under the supervision of their academic advisors.
Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, stressed that this festival that marks the culmination of the relentless efforts and hard work which is based in creativity and professionalism. He pointed out that Ajman University has a treasure of human resource in the form of professors, academicians and employees that prepare the student at the highest grade to ensure their transition into the main market is smooth and their work is of exceptional quality.
The first position was secured by “High Flag” by students Abdullah Laith, Hasnain raddi and Rami Miladi. The second place was given to the music video “Martyr's Day” and the third place was secured by the video “My son is alive”. The festival concluded with an honoring ceremony for the winners and the supervisor Dr. Safa Othman.
The festival is a testament to the patriotic spirit of the students and the professionalism with which they expressed through beautiful and emotionally moving video of sacrifice, pride and love for our beloved country.
