Ten male students from Ajman University participated in the Young Adventure organized by BP (British Petroleum). It was a three-day adventurous camp across the mountains and beaches of Fujairah, Dibba and Oman. The students were from different specializations and colleges at the University.
The main aim of this camp was the development of physical and mental skills of the youngsters and to train them to seek creative solutions to problems. These activities also open them to cultural experiences and strengthen their social relationships while developing the spirit of leadership. The students who have a keen interest in camping and adventure thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
The participated in various activities that included wall climbing, rope art, swimming and mountain biking amongst others like simple boat building. The main aim was to seek creative solutions to activities and situations. At the end of the camp participants were honored with diplomas and medals. Students expressed their delight at being able to participate in this adventurous event.
