Ajman University: 544 New Enrollees in Spring Semester

As Spring Semester 2014-2015 unfolds, Ajman University of Science and Technology campuses in Ajman and Fujairah witnessed a collective intake of 544 new students. With the end of the add and drop period by February 5, the students are seen hustling to their respective lectures.

Mr. Osama Salman, Vice-President of Ajman University stated that the number of applicants who met the requirements of admission at the university totaled 382 at Ajman Campus and 162 at Fujairah Campus, bringing the overall number of enrolled students in both campuses to 9230, distributed among 9 colleges and 46 accredited programs.

He also explained that the registration process was marked by high efficiency and speed thanks to electronic registration system (SIS), deployed by the University. The SIS ensures smooth registration, facilitates adding and dropping courses and assists students in efficiently completing the most important step before commencing their new semester at the campus.

The academic calendar is adhered to ardently at Ajman University, all means are provided to ensure smooth transition between semesters for both old students and freshmen. The new semester begins on a new note of hope and aspiration towards a brighter future.
