The Department of Student Affairs in Ajman University of Science and Technology received a student delegation from the English Grammar School in Dubai that consisted of 45 male and female students. The visit was meant to provide an opportunity for the school’s senior-year students to get acquainted with the University’s unique educational environment and learn about its vast array of undergraduate and graduate programs.
The visit began with an overview of the important aspects of academic life at AUST and the various courses offered by the University through its nine colleges, in addition to the multifold services, resources and incentives that are made available to enrich the learning experience of students. Some light was also shed on the approach adopted by AUST to regularly review and update its curricula by keeping abreast of the latest educational methods and technological developments to cater to the current and future needs of both the community and the job market.
Afterwards, the visitors were taken on a tour around the campus colleges and facilities, including dental clinics, pharmaceutical laboratories, media studios and others.
At the end, the school students were presented with memento gifts and information literature about AUST. They expressed their deep appreciation and contentment at this enjoyable and beneficial visit.
On his part, Dr. Abdulhaq Baseer Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of AUST Student Affairs Department, thanked the students and wished them a successful school year, while urging them to work hard to achieve the best results which would allow them to make their higher education choice with much ease and confidence.
