College of Law at Ajman University continues to receive applications for B.A. and Master Programs

The College of Law at Ajman University of Science and Technology continues to receive applications for the B.A. programs in Law and Master Programs in both Public and Private Law until January 22nd, 2009.

Only a limited number of seats is available at the College, namely 25 for the Master in Public Law and 25 for Private Law. Applicants for the Master Programs are required to have a Bachelor degree in Law from one of the recognized colleges of Law, the Police, or Sharia and Law.

The total number of hours for the Master Programs in Public Law and Private Law is 33 credit hours, distributed over 21 hours for the initial year and 12 hours for the Master Thesis. To pass the initial year, the students are required to score a grade of 70%, and hence can register their theses. To obtain a Master degree, the TOEFL or the Completion of the 4th Level in French Certificates is required, noting that this condition is a requisite for graduation, and not for study.

The minimum period of both Masters is two years (courses and thesis) while the maximum period is four years.
