Summer Research Internships

1. Pittsburgh University- US

“This summer, I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Mike Modo at the University of Pittsburgh on DTI MRI mesoscale technologies to map the human temporal lobe. Our research involved segmenting the temporal lobe gyri for machine learning and visualizing white matter tracts. During my month on-site, I gained research and practical skills, made lasting friendships, and experienced U.S. culture firsthand. The experience was both productive and enjoyable, and now it's time to continue working on the project!”

“During our elective, we had an amazing experience thanks to our supervising doctors' support and guidance. They ensured we gained hands-on experience, including taking blood samples, scrubbing in for surgeries, and administering local anesthesia and so much more. Outside the clinic, they were welcoming and invited us to meals, creating a perfect blend of mentorship and camaraderie, making the clinical elective experience truly enriching.”
