Medicine Across Continents – Inbound study tour at College of Medicine

The Medicine Across Continents study tour, organized collaboratively by Ajman University’s College of Medicine and the OIAA Office from April 30 to May 5, offered students from Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth “Deemed to be University” a rich educational and cultural immersion. Through a combination of academic engagements and cultural explorations, students delved into the healthcare practices of the Emirates while experiencing the vibrant sites and culture of the UAE.The tour commenced with a welcoming meet and greet session, followed by visits to the Healthcare Simulation Clinical Competency Center (HSCCC) where students interacted with state-of-the-art medical simulators used to enhance clinical skills. Highlights included a dynamic clinical moulage workshop promoting collaboration and critical thinking, and visits to partner hospitals like the Saudi German Hospital for insights into hospital operations and medical education practices.Additionally, academic interactions with counterparts at the College of Medicine and cultural exploration of iconic landmarks and malls provided students with a transformative experience, fostering a deeper understanding of global healthcare and cultural diversity as they return to their home institution, enriched with enhanced medical knowledge and cherished memories.
