White Coat Ceremony

On Thursday , 14th November  2019, White lab coats – traditional attire for healthcare professionals – were donned proudly by the historic first cohort of medical students of Ajman University, College of Medicine as they officially became physicians-in-training during the inaugural White Coat Ceremony. The White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage which welcomes new medical students into the noble Profession of Medicine.

Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University congratulated the students and their parents on this momentous occasion and shared words of wisdom and inspiration about their choice of career and institution. His address concluded with a huge applause over these great words, “May nothing but success grace the future of our doctors of tomorrow. Let’s make this happen!”

Dr. Solomon Senok, Dean- College of Medicine welcomed the Class of 2024 to the inaugural White Coat Ceremony of the College of Medicine , its highly innovative curriculum and to the limitless opportunities to groom and grow as the next generation of healthcare leaders under the supervision of dedicated and enthusiastic faculty. Professor. Alfreda Stadlin, Professor of Anatomy accompanied the Dean on stage for the White Coat Ceremony which was followed by the Medical Student Honor Code pledge recitation led by the Dean, Dr. Solomon.

The ceremony concluded with proud and promising year one medical students flaunting their white coats around the campus with beaming faces. Congratulations Class of 2024!
