I am an Associate Professor in the College of Medicine at Ajman University. I teach Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine courses for Foundation, first and third year students. After my graduation from the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University, Egypt; I started both my clinical and teaching career at the department of Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2004. After obtaining my Master degree in molecular biology, I moved to Karolinska Institutet for my PhD in January 2010 and defended my thesis at department of Laboratory Medicine. Later, I was intensively involved in clinical practice and teaching for two years at the Faculty of Medicine, Port-Said University, Egypt as an assistant professor of Biochemistry. I joined later on (2017), as a post-doctoral fellow, Linköping University, Sweden and in 2018, I returned to Karolinska Institutet as a post-doctoral fellow then as an assistant professor at department of Oncology-Pathology. My research experience is placed between the areas of pharmacogenomics, personalized medicine, adoptive T cell therapy and the development of animal models. I also have a vast experience for the development and validation of analytical methods using different analytical techniques.
