Dr. Anastasiya Spaska joined the College of Medicine, Ajman University in 2020 as an Associate Professor in Human Biology. She earned her MSc degree in Biology and PhD in Anatomy (2007), as well as professional training, from the top Universities in Ukraine. As an academician, she has been working for the classical and medical Universities in Ukraine, Cyprus, and now in the UAE. She possess years of teaching Anatomy and Physiology, Histology and Embryology, Medical Biology and Genetics courses to medical, pharmacy, health sciences, and biology students. She is a true adept in creating and delivering highly effective engaging study courses, securing motivation and success of her students. Her research interest includes Biology of Reproduction, Andrology, Anatomical Variation, Medical Education, Urinary System Development, Stress, and Public Health matters. She has multiple publications across these subjects in highly ranked scientific journals, as well as noticeable participation in local and international conferences. For many years is a member of the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology.
