Dr. Abdallah Alzoubi is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology, Head of Pathological Sciences Department, and Director of Phase II of the Pre-Clerkship Program at the College of Medicine, Ajman University. He holds an MD degree from the School of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan (2005), and a PhD degree in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of South Alabama, United States of America (2013). Dr. Alzoubi previously served as an Associate Professor and Chairman of Pharmacology and as an Assistant Dean for Basic Medical Sciences Affairs at the School of Medicine, JUST. During those appointments, he was actively involved in committees for the continuous assessment and evolution of medical education and curriculum development, and coordinated the most recent updates of curriculum of graduate studies in Basic Medical Sciences, at the School of Medicine. Dr. Alzoubi has approximately 30 publications in internationally indexed journals, with research interests in the fields of cardiopulmonary diseases, endocrine disorders, and tobacco delivery systems. He is adept in research design and methodology, ranging from pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo approaches, to clinical trials and epidemiological studies, and holds several grants to fund his research activities. Dr. Alzoubi continues to serve as a reviewer for many local, regional, and international medical Journals and funding agencies.
