Dr. Abdallah Alzoubi is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology, Head of the Pathological Sciences Department, and Director of Phase II of the Pre-Clerkship Program at the College of Medicine, Ajman University. He holds an MD from the School of Medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan (2005), and a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of South Alabama, USA (2013). Prior to joining Ajman University, Dr. Alzoubi served as an Associate Professor and Chairman of Pharmacology, as well as Assistant Dean for Basic Medical Sciences Affairs at the School of Medicine, JUST. During his tenure, he actively contributed to committees focused on the continuous assessment and evolution of medical education and curriculum development, including coordinating recent updates to the graduate studies curriculum in Basic Medical Sciences. With approximately 30 publications in internationally indexed journals, Dr. Alzoubi’s research interests include cardiopulmonary diseases, endocrine disorders, and tobacco delivery systems. He is skilled in research design and methodology, from pre-clinical in vitro and in vivo studies to clinical trials and epidemiological research, and has secured several research grants. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for multiple local, regional, and international medical journals and funding agencies.
