H.H. Sheikh Humaid Al Nuaimi Attends the Graduation Ceremony for Ajman University's ‘Class of 2024’
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, along with H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the graduation ceremony of the "Class of 2024" from Ajman University. The ceremony, held at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences & Exhibitions on the campus, was filled with joy and pride for the success and graduation of over 200 students.
The graduation ceremony commenced with the arrival of H.H., the Ruler of Ajman, and his entourage to the ceremony hall. The national anthem was played, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Subsequently, a video highlighting the university's mission and achievements. H.H., the Ruler of Ajman, commended the remarkable standards of the higher education system of the UAE and the country’s cultural renaissance across various domains, especially in education and science. He attributed this success to the unwavering support from H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and his brother H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy President of the State, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai. Their ongoing support reflects a strong belief in knowledge and education as fundamental pillars for progress and development. H.H. stated, "Higher education is a great asset that is invaluable, representing the true investment in humanity, enhancing the bright image of the United Arab Emirates, known for its developmental and educational achievements, contributing to the advancement of intellectual, scientific, economic, cultural, and social progress regionally and internationally."
H.H. added, "Ajman University has become a center of academic and intellectual radiation in the community, contributing to supporting the major civilizational progress we are experiencing today through its outstanding graduates in various activities and institutions of society, in addition to the academic projects and research they undertake."
H.H. commended the efforts of the Board of Trustees, administration, and faculty of the university, who worked diligently and devotedly to place the university in a prestigious academic and scientific position, gaining a global reputation.
H.H., the Ruler of Ajman, congratulated the graduates and their families, commending the fruitful results of their hard work throughout their educational journey, reaching these proud moments of success and graduation.
The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Deputy Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Sheikh Hamid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, H.E. Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, UAE's Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and Member of the UAE Cabinet and member of the University's Board of Trustees, and heads and directors of government departments, deans of colleges, professors, parents of graduating students, and university guests, including senior personalities and officials. Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, expressed deep gratitude to H.H., the Ruler of Ajman, for unwavering support and wise leadership that contributed to the university's strategic success. He commended H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, for fostering a competitive educational environment, encouraging research and innovation, and promoting social responsibility values that empower youth to realize their potential.
Representing the graduates, Ali Issa Hadid expressed, "It's an honor to meet today with His Highness, the Ruler of Ajman. H.H.'s gracious sponsorship of this ceremony reflects the tremendous support that students in the UAE receive from our wise leadership, led by H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, and his brothers, rulers of the Emirates."
On this occasion, H.H., the Ruler of Ajman, presented the university's shield to H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, while H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi presented a similar shield to His Highness, the Ruler of Ajman.
His Highness, the Ruler of Ajman, accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, honored the graduates of postgraduate studies and the top students of the colleges. H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Dr. Karim Seghir, oversaw the certificates distribution to the graduates and the recognition of outstanding achievements among them.
