Ajman University proudly announces that Dr. Saeed Nasef, Professor at the College of Humanities and Sciences, and Dr. Salah Gad, Associate Professor from the same college, have achieved a significant milestone by winning the Rashid Bin Humaid Cultural and Sciences Award in its 41st edition. The researchers secured the second prize in the research category for their outstanding study titled "The Role of Media Culture in Promoting Sustainable Development Among University Youth.

Dr. Saeed Nasef commented, "Ajman University provides an ideal platform for research, providing continuous support for projects and initiatives that enhance cultural and media understanding. Our study addresses sustainable development, a key issue that the University prioritizes in its research agenda. Winning this award is an incredible motivation for me and my colleagues to continue developing research that contributes to community development."

In celebration of this achievement, Dr. Salah Gad expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the University, stating, "This accomplishment would not have been possible without the ongoing support and exceptional environment provided by Ajman University. We look forward to the future and remain committed to delivering impactful research that addresses socially relevant theoretical and practical issues."

The award-winning research explored the role of modern digital culture in promoting sustainable development among university youth, focusing on the impact of digital media culture in this context. A social field study was conducted on a sample of 356 students from the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, utilizing an electronic questionnaire and employing social survey methods along with descriptive analysis. The study's results highlighted that the most important modern media used by university youth include social networking sites, the internet, online news platforms, and satellite channels. Additionally, the study recommended the need to allocate sustainable development programs tailored to youth across all modern media.

This achievement reflects Ajman University’s commitment as a non-profit institution to investing its resources in promoting research and supporting academic initiatives by creating an environment that encourages innovation and growth. The University also offers scholarships and funding for research projects, enhancing the competitiveness of its researchers. This accomplishment marks an important step toward realizing the University's vision of becoming a leading research center.
