Ajman University Chancellor Dr. Karim Seghir Appointed Chair of AACSB MENA Advisory Council

Ajman University is proud to announce that Chancellor Seghir has been appointed Chair of the AACSB Middle East and North Africa Advisory Council (MENAAC) for the term ending June 30, 2025. This prestigious appointment is a testament to Chancellor Seghir’s dedication to advancing the quality of business education in the region and beyond.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is a global accrediting body for business schools, ensuring excellence in education through rigorous standards. As the AACSB MENAAC Chair, Chancellor Seghir will play a pivotal role in advising and guiding the AACSB Board of Directors and staff in the implementation and enhancement of AACSB’s strategic plan and mission within the MENA region. His leadership will be instrumental in helping AACSB better understand and serve the quality improvement needs of business schools across the region.

In his role as MENAAC Chair, Chancellor Seghir will be actively involved in designing and implementing evaluation metrics, creating new services/programs tailored to the region's needs, and recommending candidates for AACSB governance roles. This proactive approach will ensure that schools in the MENA region are well-represented and actively engaged in AACSB’s global network.
