Ajman University: an Educational Partner in ICIP 2024
Ajman University participated as an educational partner in the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), organized by the Signal Processing Society (SPS). The conference was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 27 to 30, 2024.

Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, participated in a panel discussion at the PROGRESS workshop titled " "Democratizing AI and RISING with Limited Resources.” The workshop focused on the importance of making artificial intelligence accessible and effective, even in resource-constrained environments, contributing to broader discussions on the equitable distribution of technological benefits.
As part of its efforts to develop students' skills and prepare them for the workforce, a group of students and alumni from the College of Mass Communication participated in the media coverage of the conference under the supervision of Dr. Dina El-Khattat, Assistant Professor at the college and the coordinator of training.
