Ajman University Hosts Special Interview with the Volleyball Champion 2023

As part of a series of interviews with sports star, the Athletics Unit at the Office of Student Life organized a special interview session with the 2023 Volleyball Champion, Kowthar Forast, Student at the College of Medicine.

Kauthar's journey began in 2005 during kindergarten when she developed her passion for sports with the support of her family. In 2010, she received a medal for her outstanding performance at Al MA 'Arifa International Private School, followed by a 5-kilometer marathon medal in 2011. Later, in 2012, she secured first place in the girls’ handball competition. In 2018, Kauthar joined the College of Medicine at Ajman University, and became a member of the AU Volleyball team in 2019. Later, in 2022, she did it again, securing second place in the "Stay Active in Ramadan" competition, and second place in the AU Inter-College Sports Tournament.

"These interviews encourage and motivate students to achieve their goals and develop their skills. They provide students with a unique opportunity to explore the world of sports and learn skills and strategies through direct interaction with sports champions and stars. In addition, these interviews unlock the spirits of competition and teamwork among students, enhancing communication and collaboration. Overall, they shape their personalities, making them more resilient, disciplined, and capable of achieving their goals in various aspects of life," said Ms. Asma Al Shamsi, Manager of the Athletics Unit.
