Ajman University and Hikvision Collaborate to Promote Student Employability, Research, and Knowledge Sharing

In yet another significant industry partnership aimed at promoting employable skills among students, Ajman University has partnered with Hikvision, one of the leading companies specializing in advanced machine perception, artificial intelligence, and big data technologies. This collaboration aims at enhancing employable skills among students by providing them with opportunities for internships and various career-development initiatives. It will ensure that Ajman University students are career-ready from day one, upon graduation.

The collaboration includes a 16-week internship at Hikvision, adhering to UAE Ministry of Education guidelines, where students will gain practical experience and develop skills that are highly sought after in the job market. Furthermore, Hikvision will periodically inform Ajman University about job openings, providing students with direct pathways to employment opportunities.

Ajman University will facilitate webinars, seminars, and workshops conducted by Hikvision, which aim at equipping students with hard and soft skills, along with industry insights. Additionally, Hikvision will engage in various career development events at the university.

To ensure its curriculum reflects current industry standards, Ajman University will involve Hikvision as an advisory partner in developing course content for relevant disciplines. Both entities are committed to a partnership that encourages the exchange of experiences and collaborative knowledge-sharing initiatives.

In terms of community engagement, Ajman University will actively promote Hikvision’s volunteering opportunities to its community, ensuring that faculty, students, and staff can participate in meaningful projects.

Furthermore, Hikvision will consult with Ajman University community on aspects of solution design, product selection, digital transformation, and machine learning, offering special discounts on its products and solutions to Ajman University members.
