Ajman University’s Dr. Nagwa Yousif Wins Lifetime Achievement Award for Research in Sociology

Ajman University’s Dr. Nagwa Yousif has been awarded the Venus International Women Award for Lifetime Achievement in Sociology by the India-based Venus International Foundation (VIF). ( Sociology – 2022 Winners (viwa.info)

Dr. Nagwa is Assistant Professor at the College of Humanities and Sciences in Ajman University.

The award is conferred to remarkable women researchers for exceptional contribution to fundamental discoveries, new theories, insights impacting their own discipline and beyond, cutting-edge achievements and continued extraordinary productivity over the course of their career.

The Venus International Women Awards were instituted by VIF in 2016 to 'celebrate and promote successful and promising women researchers' who contribute to the discipline and social community.
