AU Students on Relief Mission to Zanzibar

Ajman University, marking its 30th centennial, has dispatched a relief mission of 30 students to Zanzibar in Tanzania on a five-day trip.

The voluntary excursion was in line with the AU values of tolerance and social responsibility.

The ‘Zanzibar 30’ team, including male and female students from different colleges, made a huge impact on the 70 orphans visited at the Creative Education Foundation there.

The kids were over thrilled with the recreational program held. The AU students took them in a trip to the beach where they played several games got involved in interactive activities, following which they happily had lunch together.

Meanwhile, the AU students built a special pathway for the kids so that they can safely reach their classrooms in the Woods.

This hard hours-long work was part of the AU students commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility.

It was also an attempt to promote positivity among the orphans and motivate them to complete their education and be good members of the society.

The Creative Education Foundation is a non-profit educational institution targeting the orphans to improve the quality of their education.
