AU Career Council Announces Open Day for Recruitment

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in Dubai and Chairman of the Advisory Council of Ajman University, received members of the Board at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in Dubai and welcomed Mr. Abdulqader Ali, CEO of Smart World Company. During the meeting, he reviewed the Open Days Employment Initiatives, which are organized by the Ministry to attract Emirati job seekers. The participants also discussed some of the initiatives and professional activities that can be organized to benefit AU students.

In addition, Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs at Ajman University, suggested unifying the efforts between the Ministry and the University by launching a joint open recruitment day for Emirati job seekers as well as Ajman University graduates of all nationalities.

The Council welcomed the idea and it will be implemented through organizing the Open Day for Recruitment at Ajman University, which will be held next April at the University. It will include training workshops to equip job seekers with the skills required by the labor market, and the prospect of future jobs.
