Ajman University to Honor 1,264 Graduates from 42 Nationalities

After long tiring days of hard work and study, the day has come, and it is time for reaping the much-awaited-harvest, and enjoy the commencement ceremony.

Ajman University (AU), under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, gears up to honor 1,264 graduates this October.

The 489 male and 775 females graduates, lucky to be the second cohort of the ‘Year of Tolerance’, are hailing from 42 different nationalities around the world, best reflecting AU diversity.

The AU 28th batch has been named after the pioneering initiative of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who declared 2019 as the ‘Year of Tolerance’.

Dr Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman and founder of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global is to be the keynote speaker in recognition of his contributions and role in promoting accounting and intellectual property in the Arab world.

Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, the Chairperson and Speaker of the Federal National Council, is also to be the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony of female graduates.

The ceremony, to be held on October 28, is to see 489 male graduates, including 461 holders of bachelor's degrees and 28 of master's degrees, while 775 female graduates, including 686 holders of bachelor's degrees and 89 of master's degrees, are to be honored on October 29.

Ajman University, as part of arrangements for the anticipated function, has launched a special web portal (commencement.ajman.ac.ae) that incorporates all the details thereof.

Top graduates in bachelor and master’s degrees are to be unveiled on the very website some days before the ceremony which is to be telecast live.

Graduates may express their joy, and share the moment and their university memories on a special hashtag - (9#AUgrad201), launched as well.
