Year of Zayed Commencement Ceremony at AU
Ajman University is gearing up to hold the first commencement ceremony of the year 2018. It has been aptly named the Year of Zayed batch.
The year 2018 marks 100 years since the birth of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE, who passed away in 2004. To commemorate this historic national occasion, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates has declared that 2018 will officially be known in the UAE as the Year of Zayed.
The Year of Zayed batch will include 336 graduates from all the Colleges at AU hailing from 29 different countries. 5th and 6th of February 2018 will witness the male and female ceremonies respectively. The dedicated website: commencement.ajman.ac.ae and accompanying exclusive hashtag#AUGrad2018 will ensure students are kept abreast of all information and are able to share their memories with their friends and families.
The graduates have already started collecting their gowns and invitation cards from the campus. 2018 marks the 30-year milestone for AU and this batch takes alumni strength over 36000 graduates that are productively contributing to various industries across the globe.
