Honoring outstanding sports teams at AU

The General Sports Federation of Higher Education Institutions honored Ajman University Sports teams, which won first positions in various competitions organized by the Sports Federation.

AU Male students won five advanced positions, while female students won four advanced positions, at state level universities. Male students came third in physical strength, third in table tennis (teams), third in taekwondo, third in karate, and third in squash.

Meanwhile female students ranked second in table tennis (teams), second in badminton, third in swimming and third in basketball.

The celebration was held under the patronage of Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz Al-Hai, Secretary-General of the Sports Federation of Higher Education Institutions, in the presence of the members of the Arab Union for University Sports and the directors of sports activities in universities.
