Girls Dish Out “A Taste of your Country”

Residents of the female hostel organized a unique event to give everyone a taste of their countries traditional dishes. Under the supervision of the housing unit at Student Affairs Deanship, the students prepared and presented their culinary treats.

In an informal environment infused with the smells of wonderful food, students and management enjoyed the dishes. Countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Japan, India, Palestine, Syria, Egypt were amongst the ones represented.

Students briefed the visitors about the history and meanings of the intriguing dishes that included appetizers, main and sweet dishes. Student affairs encourages students to be a part of such events, it brings them closer and broadens the horizons of knowledge about each others countries and cultures.
