Festival of Art & Creativity at AU

Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor Ajman University inaugurated the Festival of Art and Creativity at AU. The festival displayed 300 distinct work of art by students from Ajman University and other higher educational institutions around the UAE.

The art was divided into 4 categories of oil painting, photography, artwork and calligraphy. A panel of art lovers and artists judged the best art in each category, they were chosen for their creative reflection and skills. Winning students were awarded by Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi, Dean of Student Affairs and the event was attended by AU higher management, deans, managers, students and members of the public.

The festival witnessed an enthusiastic participation from students of University of Sharjah, Qasmiyah University, American University of Dubai, UAE University, American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Higher Colleges of Technology and the Ministry of Culture and Community Development.

Ajman University encourages and supports the students who have a flair for fine arts because a holistic environment conducive to learning and expression is the very fundamental principle of AU’s strategy and goals.
