College of Pharmacy Breast Cancer Special Campaign Awareness

As part of Ajman University initiatives of the year of Zayed, lecturers from the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, held two workshops and lectures on special campaign awareness about breast cancer.

Dr. Sawsan Shanableh, AU faculty member, presented an interactive lecture on breast cancer types and stages. Furthermore she highlighted the importance of how to conduct periodic self-examination of the disease and how to treat it according to its stage.

Dr. Alaa Faragallah, AU faculty member, spoke about the risk factors that lead to an increase of the disease and how changing your lifestyle may help to reduce the risk of infection.

The interaction with the audience proved that this topic should be widely addressed and its important should be well known to spread awareness among the community.
