Clinical Course on Wisdom Teeth Surgical Treatment at AU

In collaboration with the continuing education center at Ajman University the College of Dentistry organized a one day training course in the “Clinical Evaluation, Radiographic and Pathological Assessment of Impacted Wisdom Teeth and the surgical treatment”.

The course was organized and presented by the Dr. Awad Alshekhi in collaboration with the following speakers including Dr. Maher AL Shayeb from the Department of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Alexander from the Oral Radiology and Oral Medicine Department and  Dr Sayed Kuduruthullah from the Basic Science Department. The doctors discussed the basic principles and the current trends in the evaluation and the management of the impacted third molar.

This course has been sponsored by MAC Digital Dental Company, Dr Mazin, the Chief Director of MAC Digital Dental Company, demonstrated the updated  scanning impression machine. At the end of the course certificates were distributed to the participants, which will support them their clinical experience in the management of impacted wisdom teeth during their professional career. These courses enhance the collaboration between the university and industry sectors both locally and internationally.
