AU Students Attend Genetic Awareness Session

Ajman University students attended an awareness lecture on genetic diseases at Dubai Women's Association under the theme "Year of Zayed and Genetics of Happiness". It was presented by Dr. Mariam Matter, Founder and Chairman of the Emirates Society of Genetic Diseases. She spoke about the most important genetic diseases and key factors concerning families and society. She also outlined key methods and precautions to protect themselves and their future generation.

This participation comes within the framework of AU’s goal of making its students an active part of the society and positive contributors to our community.
