AU Participates In 11th Medication Safety Conference 2018

As thousands of scientists, researchers and experts came together at the 11th Medication Safety Conference, which was held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) between the periods 2 - 4 November 2018 the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Ajman University left an impression on the visitors by its active participation. The event  hosted delegates from GCC sates and surrounding regions, including pharmacists, physicians, nurses, students and other healthcare professionals devoted to patient safety and in particular medication safety best practices

Prof. Nageeb Hassan, Dean of College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, highlighted the importance of the College’s participation at such international conferences which facilitates exchange of evidence based information, expertise and experience amongst peers.

AU College of Pharmacy and Health Science participation at the conference included four professional posters conducted by Dr. Sanah Hassan, Dr. Yassin Al-Hariri, Dr. Sundos Qassim. Dr. Alaa Faragallah, Dr. Sawsan Shanableh and eight master degree students, in addition to one oral professional presentation conducted by Dr. Sanah Hasan entitled “Inter-professional Education” (IPE).
