AU Management Visits Kuwait

A delegation headed by Dr. Karim Seghir, Ajman University Chancellor visited Kuwait and its entities. The delegation also included Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Vice-Chancellor for Advancement and Communication and Dr. Khaled As Saleh, Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

AU members met Dr. Sabih Al - Mukhaizeem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait. During the meeting Dr. Karim Seghir reviewed the strategic plan of AU to further the international recognition of its programs.

The delegation also visited the University of Kuwait and met with the Director, Dr. Hussain Ahmed Ansari. The two sides discussed avenues of mutual understanding along with cooperation in joint the field of scientific research and exchange of students and faculty.

At the Gulf University of Science and Technology the met Dr. Salah Al Sharhan, Acting director of the University. They agreed to sign a MoU for cooperation between the two educational institutions to further their role of providing the industries with well-rounded graduates.

Following the earlier visits to the neighboring countries, AU management met with the alumni chapter. It is always a proud moment for the alma mater to see the progress made by the graduates in their respective careers. Chancellor Seghir briefed them about the latest developments of the colleges and the international accreditations that the university is obtaining. The alumni felt they were connected to their university through the establishment of the alumni chapter that has eased the communication and career counselling process.
