As part of the events in October, the Office of Sports Activities and Student Clubs at Ajman University, in cooperation with Ajman Medical City, organized a day of awareness about breast cancer under the slogan "We are stronger together" held at the University Sports Complex with the participation of students from the AU Colleges, “Gawafil Al-Khair”, and peer universities sports teams.

Ms. Alia Al Shamsi, Director of Health Education at Ajman Medical City, reviewed models of healthy and unhealthy foods and talked about the effect of some foods on raising the immunity of the body, protecting it from diseases, and the impact of others on the health condition and its seriousness it spreads throughout the body. The events included many competitions and recreational activities, which aimed to disseminate and raise awareness of breast cancer, and the importance of periodic examination, which in turn contributes to early detection, which increases the chance of swift recovery.

During the event, the distribution of leaflets for the disease included its causes, symptoms, and ways of prevention, as well as advice and guidance that should be followed to reduce the chance of infection. College of Pharmacy students participated in the awareness activities of breast cancer with measurements of pressure and sugar and distributed poster awareness.
