Ajman Ruler's Consort Attends Graduation Ceremony of Batch of the “Year of Zayed”

Sheikha Fatima Bint Zayed Bin Saqr, Head of the Umm Al Moumineen Women’s Association and wife of His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, attended the graduation of 543 female students from the second batch of the “Year of Zayed”

Sheikha Fatima Bint Zayed Bin Saqr delivered a speech in which she expressed her happiness to celebrate the success of the graduates of “Year of Zayed” and congratulated them on their excellence and graduation. Additionally, she congratulated the mothers for their good efforts to facilitate all the ways and conditions for their daughters to study in diligence.

At the end of her speech, the wife of Ajman Ruler thanked the attendees and the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, headed by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and the administrative and teaching staff and all employees of the University.

Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs, University of Ajman, delivered a speech in which she thanked the Ajman Ruler's Consort and her constant support to AU and to knowledge, youth and to the positive spirit of the University. She also extended her thanks to the Ministry of Education and its continuous support and constructive guidance over the last three decades of Ajman University and all educational institutions in the country. Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi thanked the members of the academic and administrative staff as well as the parents for all their support, encouragement and motivation for students throughout the year.

H.E. the Minister of State for Advanced Science, Sara Bint Yousif Al Amiri, delivered a speech in which she thanked His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman for his continued support of science and knowledge and his continued patronage of students and Sheikha Fatima Bint Zayed Bin Saqr Al Nahyan.

"I had the honor to be your daughter. I stood here, ten years ago on the same stage where I received my degree. I sought after knowledge and I got my first job where I dedicated myself to it and then the “future maker” was my second job," she said.

She pointed out that the age of the UAE is less than 50 years. Thanks to the wise leadership, we have been able to make the best of our achievements. There is the challenge of Mars and all the workers are challenged in a field where they did not have enough experience because they put the trust and support of the leadership in their eyes. Now, we are working on the Hope Trail with 10 experts around the world.

Speaking at the event, graduate, Fatima Jumaa thanked and praised Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their brothers, members of the Supreme Council of the Union, Rulers of the Emirates for all their efforts to promote this dear homeland and its citizens and residents.

Sheikha Fatima Bint Zayed Bin Saqr Al Nahyan concluded the ceremony with the distribution of graduation certificates to 543 graduates amid an atmosphere of great happiness and joy.

Ajman Ruler's Consort presented the shields of the University to H.E. Hessa Bint Isa Abu Humaid, Jameela Bint Salem Musabah Al Muhairi and Sara Bent Yousif Al Amiri wishing them success in their national work.
