University Housing Encourages Hostel Students to Network and Communicate

The University Housing Office organized a networking event for new students at the Male and Female Students’ Residence at Ajman University.

Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs along with Eng. Lina Tayfoor, Manager of the University Housing Office and Dr. Rasha Abdullah, Manager of the Student Counselling Office presided over the meeting.

Eng. Tayfoor outlined in detail the housing security and safety measures during the meeting and regulations of the hostel. She also presented the most important activities and events organized by the University Housing Office during the academic year and encouraged students to join. In addition to announcing the competition for the best room in terms of arrangement and cleanliness at Female Student’s Residence.

Dr. Rasha Abdulla presented an insightful workshop on "Successful Communication Skills" to assist the students to connect with one another and understand others. She explained, “A successful person spends most of his time in the process of vertical and horizontal communication”. The session included many discussions and interaction by the participating audience

At the end of the meeting, Eng. Tayfoor gave a special welcome to the new students, wishing them an academic journey full of success and excellence with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Attendees were invited to dinner at the end of the event.
