Pleasant Surprises and Blooms Spread Cheer across Campus
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Chancellor Dr. Karim Seghir decided to surprise the female staff and faculty members of the AU community. He personally visited them and presented a token of his appreciation of their unrelenting efforts and dedication. Chancellor Seghir reiterated the importance of their roles as homemakers, mothers, sisters, daughters, employees and responsible members of the community. Praising them for wearing many hats effortlessly and giving their utmost to all the roles they hold. The staff and faculty were taken aback by the kind gesture and moving words.
In a similar initiative, the Community Service Office celebrated this day by distributing Arabic and English inspirational books to the female faculty and staff members of the AU Community.
