German University Visits College of Business Administration at AU
A delegation comprising of faculty members and students from Hochschule Ruhr West University in Germany visited Ajman University . Professor Akinola Fadahunsi, Acting Dean at College of Business Administration warmly welcomed them to AU and the Emirates of Ajman.
The entourage visited the College of Dentistry, College of Pharmacy and Health Science amongst others during their tour of the campus and its state of the art facilities. Professor Akinola briefed the visiting students and faculty members about the undergraduate and graduate programs offered at AU in its eight accredited colleges.
Dr. Karim Seghir, AU Chancellor met the delegation and discussed the strategic vision of making AU visible on the global map of higher education. Prof. Isabel Lausberg from Ruhr West gave a brief presentation about their University, highlighting the wide array of disciplines that Ruhr West offers.
The two sides showed keen interest in formalizing a relationship between Hochschule Ruhr West and Ajman University. Professor Andree Elsner from Ruhr West discussed with Prof. Akinola the prospect of signing of an MOU between AU and Ruhr West regarding, student and faculty exchange and areas that would be of mutual interest and benefit to both.
