Crown Prince of Fujairah attends graduation ceremony of 112 students of ‘Year of Giving’ batch in Ajman University

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended the graduation ceremony of 112 students of the ‘Year of Giving’ batch in Ajman University, Fujairah, on Tuesday.

It was held at the Sheikh Khalifa Hall, with the attendance of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding Federation, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, and Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Advisor to the Ruler of Fujairah.

The Crown Prince of Fujairah congratulated the students on completing their studies and stressed the necessity of investing the skills and knowledge that they gained over these years for serving the nation and contributing to the sustainable development process in the country.

He further underlined the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad on the necessity of continuing efforts to elevate the standard of education in the UAE to the level of developed countries. He urged the students to continue to gain knowledge and contribute to strengthening the country’s stature and leading role in the world.

He also asserted the importance of educational institutions in the country, which provide a good scientific atmosphere that prepares exceptional and dedicated manpower. They help the development and modernisation witnessed by the UAE and elevate the quality and excellence standards that the country’s government and people aspire to achieve, he added.

Sheikh Mohammed praised the effective role of Ajman University in preparing generations capable of keeping up with the technological revolution and benefiting from modern technologies to support the development of the UAE and the exceptional level that higher education in the country has reached.

The Crown Prince of Fujairah ended the ceremony by honouring top students and distributing graduation degrees. He, in turn, received a commemorative shield from Al Raqbani.

Dr. Ali Abou-Elnour, Director of Ajman University, Fujairah Campus, gave a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to the Crown Prince of Fujairah for honouring the ceremony. He further said that the ‘Year of Giving’ 2017 initiative, launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is an example to be followed for strengthening noble values to serve humanity.
