AU and Union of UAE Writers and Authors Hold Discussions

Office of Student Affairs at Ajman University organized a meeting between the students representing the book club and Mohammed Hamdan Bin Jarash, Chief Executive Officer of happiness and Positivity in the Union of UAE Writers and Authors.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs, who welcomed the initiative and praised the efforts of the Union of UAE Writers and Authors in building positive interaction with young talents in the field of the creative writing.

On his part, Ben Jarash thanked AU and praised the attention given by the University on this topic. He stressed the importance of reading for the writer. A good writer is a good reader.

The meeting was attended by Ahmad Al-Ateely from the General Studies Unit, Asma Al-Shamsi and Saleem Derbas from the Deanship of Student Affairs.

During the meeting, several topics were discussed, including workshops for students wishing to develop their literary talents. Wherein Bin Jarash showed his interest and willingness to support the initiative by encouraging the talented students.
